Project Description
Landmark Architects provided design services for four, new-construction, multi-family residences, for a total of eight dwelling units in downtown New Haven, Connecticut, as part of a neighborhood revitalization initiative. The two- and three-story wood structures were planned to blend with the existing streetscapes and enhance the pre-existing blighted properties. The project incorporated the coordination of city and historical design standards to give the buildings the appropriate “vintage” appearance while incorporating modern amenities. All the buildings were designed to meet Energy Star standards and will provide the prospective owners with a quality base to grow from.
