Project Description

Landmark Architects worked in conjunction with CDR Maguire on the design of the new Francis T. Patnaude Inter-Municipal Pump Station for the City of Middletown. The new pump station, which began construction in the fall of 2017, replaced the existing city sewage treatment plant and is connected to the Mattabassett District’s Water Pollution Control Facility. Using brick and standard precast details the building was designed to blend with the existing architecture of the City of Middletown. This building is anticipated to become a main feature along East Main Street once Route-9 has been redesigned.
